WWE Talk: Top 7 Finishers of Today

A finisher is a signature move of a wrestler, where it almost always finishes the match once the move is execeuted. Here is a look of the seven deadliest finishers the WWE roster uses: (Remember to click 'Read more')

7. Future Shock DDT (Drew McIntyre)
This is ranked number seven because it looks painful. Also, it is hard to get out of this maneuver because the person traps your arms so you can't escape. This video was on TLC 2009, when Drew won the IC Championship by using the Future Shock DDT.

6. Eat Defeat (Gail Kim)
Probably the best finisher from the Divas nowadays. It will hurt your jaw, and probably your face. It's also a cool flashy move where Gail Kim shows her athleticism. The best seller of this move (in the video) is probably Maryse or Jillian. Although she hasn't won any championships with this move, she has ended lots of singles matches with this.

5. 450 Splash (Justin Gabriel)
Again, I didn't really follow WWE since a long time ago, so I wasn't able to check out NXT. The first time I saw Justin do this move, I was pleased to see someone do the 450 Splash after London got released. Although apparently, Justin botched the move sometimes, when he executes it well, he executes it well.

4. Go-To-Sleep [GTS] (CM Punk)
CM Punk is arguably the best in-ring performer right now in the WWE. He obviously has great wrestling skills he gained from Ring of Honor, he can do great promos and can draw heat from them. His sadistic gimmick right now is really drawing me in to his feud with Orton. For a great guy, he also has a great finisher. Check out the video above to see how devastating the GTS is. (Props to JTG for selling that well!)

3. Shooting Star Press (Evan Bourne)
Billy Kidman and Brock Lesnar... what do they have in common? They did at least one SSP. Kidman used to always botch the SSP like there was no tomorrow, and who could forget Lesnar at WMXIX, when he attempted to do this move and failed?! Evan Bourne does this move perfectly and it's a shame he isn't featured that much in the WWE as much as he used to.

2. RKO (Randy Orton)
The RKO is a simple but effective move that surprises the opponent. It doesn't take much time to set-up, and can be done literally anywhere. Although I despise Orton because of his backstage antics (and he's a tad overrated), I'd be scared if I were in the ring with him especially when he has this weapon known as the RKO. The video above shows the unpredictability of when this move is coming.

1. LeBell Lock (Daniel Bryan)
Bryan is my second favorite Superstar, so it might seem a little biased, but this is the move that made me mark for him. I love submission-specialists, and this move is a crossface that also traps your arm so you can barely escape! Almost all the people who Bryan put in the LeBell Lock tapped out. A beautiful finisher for a terribly misused Superstar.

Hope you enjoyed my third WWE Talk! Match of the Day & Goodbye Lullaby review will come later today.
